Ever find yourself completely distraught with unyielding longing, writhing in utter agony and brooding terribly to know how exactly a late-eighteenth century French Romantic composer could ever aesthetically express the essence of various zoo animals? Fuck no! And that's okay! I've now outright violated your mind and impregnated you with such musings as to suit this temporal need of mine for invading Cocks, but only to, in turn, cordially provide you with the very thing itself.
Mind, you may find yourself already familiar with sounds in tracks 8, 11 and 17. Potentially 16, too. If this is the case, Wikipedia provides a concise summary of the suite's musical allusions and modern uses.
Note: Track 05 begins the animal parade.
Here's a translation of the French carnival titles:
I Introduction et marche royale du lion (Introduction and royal march of the lion)
II Poules et coqs (Hens and roosters)
III Hémiones (animaux véloces) (Wild asses; quick animals)
IV Tortues (Tortoises)
V L'éléphant (The elephant)
VI Kangourous (Kangaroos)
VII Aquarium
VIII Personnages à longues oreilles (Characters with long ears) [donkeys, again]
X Volière (Aviary)
XI Pianistes (Pianists)
XII Fossiles (Fossils)
XIII Le cygne (The swan)
XIV Finale
it could be fun (butthenagainmaybenot)
If it helps, they say Saint-Saëns would plan concerts to correspond to astronomical events such as solar eclipses. P-p-pretty cool, n-n-no?

That is called a spoonerism or marrowsky.
This post in no way relates to my scientologist aunt.
Some time travel going on here. Not sure. 80s throwback. Feels ... pretty ... nice ...

Distinctive voice is distinctive.
Amelia, Persephone and Pandora are probably the first tracks I ever heard by coc twins, way back when things like Kazaa and WinMX nourished my inquiring, adolescent palate. Back when p2p searches would somehow supply you with a plethora of unrelated music tracks alongside your query-related results.

unheard of levels of sportsmanship and musicianship
and some dicks in the audience shouting dumb things
I wish I could tag this instrumental qq

so uh some deja vu happening
so Betsy and I were talking today and I like Betsy she's cool
but I come home and apparently Cocks has an email! This isn't rare. I read through, and they sound fine. I realize that I'll be posting their music whether I enjoy it or not.
but their bandcamp
look at their fucking bandcamp background? yeah that's right. Betsy is Electric Band Marzipan
anyways I don't have much to say about them. Dilla influenced trip-hop like Franc was asking for. They're lying when they say they're chill, though. You dance to this shit. Dance like a drugged out hip-hop Billy Joel.
I will be showering while listening to Clocks on Fire again.
and their album art isn't pretty.(!)
this is their Bandcamp, and this is their facebook.

Mirador, I haven't listened to you like I did the first, so I'm not going to give you some in-depth thoughtfully developed review.
it's not as ridiculously bassy, but I dislike the production compared to the first.
the first just hit all the sweet spots for me. super melodic everything, intense loud bass that sounded more fried than baked.
I'll still be keeping it, but I never get over being disappointed by a personal favorite.
Behind is just stupidly sick though.
this is the 100th post tagged with "320," so that's a milestone as well.
I'm going to be trying to flex my writing muscles a little more as well.
